Avoid paying big money for outdated technology

We frequently find the perception with new clients that old proven technology from European countries are expensive but the best. Reality is that technology keeps evolving and getting more adaptive and orientated to world needs. There has been a big increase in the number of manufacturers of solar equipment wanting a market share resultant to the renewable energy industry having been identified as a top centurion industry with an expected turnover of 1911 Million USD by 2026. Newer technology equipment designs are most often based on keeping ‘the good of the old’ and building better versatility onto it. The competitiveness in the market is continuously bringing about better and more versatile equipment at better prices and often with better and extendable warrantees and we love it. Durable applicable and functional systems can be designed at very affordable costs as a result thereof and return on investment periods are down to a few years (2.5-5) We also often hear the question ‘are your equipment manufactured in China’. The simple answer to this commonly asked question is Yes. China has more than an 80% share of the global solar equipment market. The top ten photovoltaic panel manufacturers are in China and the bulk of global solar panels are manufactured there. East Asia is the solar manufacturing hub of the world. Currently the top 3 solar manufacturers in the world are Jinko Solar, JA Solar, and Trina Solar (respectively) determined by market share among panel manufacturing companies. As far as Inverter brands are concerned, the same applies. The top fifteen global manufacturers of solar inverters are either Chinese entities or their brands are being manufactured under licence in China and other Southeast Asian Countries (SMA Sunnyboy Sunsynk Solar Edge). The figure below is the Wood Mackenzie Estimate of Global inverter shipments from China.
