POWER DATA LOGGING

To ensure that we get it right every time, we utilise state of the art power data loggers, at no cost to our prospective clients, to determine energy consumption values, time of use, active and reactive power percentages, and harmonic frequencies. We utilise the analysed information to design unique tailor-made systems for every application.

SUSTAINABLE SYSTEM DESIGN

We pride ourselves that we are not only post-graduate qualified and certified in sustainable alternative and green energy designs, but that we think out of the box and lead the industry in innovative system designs. In recognition thereof we have received an energy innovation certification from the Stanford University Professional Centre USA and the master’s certification as green energy experts from the European Centre of Technology

SYSTEM INSTALLATIONS

We have mastered the art of installing systems in record time without creating a disturbance. We do this without compromising on quality workmanship, neatness or health and safety regulations. Our installation teams from different regions often assist each other on sites to meet required timeframes.  Most domestic and commercial installations are completed and commissioned in a day. We do this without a fuss.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

We view the completion of a system installation as the beginning of a relationship with a new client. We have a 24h technical helpline that will connect you with the right manager, technician or engineer responsible for your system. Our technical site support staff operate as specialist in different divisions namely agriculture, Industrial and commercial/Domestic. Our staff is located strategically across the country to respond and assist our clients within a short period of time. During the warrantee period of the system, this service is without cost to our clients.

POWER FACTOR CORRECTION

Many industrial and agricultural induction type equipment demand a mix of active and reactive power to function. The combination thereof is called apparent power. The reactive portion of the power can be supplied by an on-site capacitance system or equipment like VSDs and VFDs that has the effect that the equipment would have local reactive power supply and demand only the lessor active power from the grid. In many cases this reactive portion can be as high as 20% of the apparent power. We measure and determine the needed k-Vars and install equipment to decrease the KVA energy demand from the grid or alternative source.

TRANSMISSION LINES & SWITCHGEAR SYSTEMS

In many instances loads of different natures and at different locations need to be combined and connected to a central alternative energy system to increase viability and cost effectiveness of a system as solar. We are qualified and excel in the design and installation of medium and high voltage transmission lines, transformers, and switchgear structures.

ENERGY SECURITY DESIGNS INCORPORATING A GENSET

We have designed a unique way of installing off-grid solar systems in configuration with integrated diesel powered gensets with automated voltage level signalling. This effectively ensures that our power system never shuts down for even a moment. The systems’ incorporated   gensets are signalled to start up, warm up at idle, supply charge to systems’ back-up bank and again shut down when DC voltage setpoints are reached. 

Normal Genset installations are automated through AT Switching which only signals the generator to start when power supply is already lost. If energy continuity is crucial to your needs, engage us to evaluate your energy needs and design a failsafe system free of charge.
